Support That Starts with Your Business

The starting point may be a digital working routine, a clearer report, a repeatable workflow or a defined business tool. We first clarify the need and the systems you already use, then agree whether there is a useful role for Capption.

Developing

Digital Growth

For entrepreneurs and growing businesses, the right next step depends on where the business is today. Capption is developing its Digital Growth Partner approach around practical changes in the business.

The starting point might be email and shared information, suitable use of AI with human review, a repeatable process or a small, well-scoped automation. Delivery format and scope are agreed around the actual need.

Reporting and Workflow Improvement

Sometimes a clearer workbook, a better report or a repeatable workflow addresses the need. In other cases, a low-code application or automation may be justified.

We focus on information people can use and processes they will follow: what must be captured, who maintains it, how it is checked and how people act on it. Tools and delivery scope are agreed once the business need is understood.

Defined Business Tools and Workflows

A defined operating problem may justify a business application, an automation or a connection between existing tools. We clarify requirements, responsibilities and information handling before proposing what to build.

Capption's implementation focus includes Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Dynamics 365. The choice depends on the process, the people who will use it and the cost of maintaining it.

Scope, deliverables, licensing and support responsibilities are agreed for the work proposed.

Working with Delivery Partners

Capption is open to discussing specialist support and co-delivery where there is a clear fit. This may involve programme visibility, digital enablement or a defined technology work package.

The client relationship, responsibilities, information access and commercial arrangements are agreed before work begins.

Sector-Focused Discussions

Programmes and projects also have specific operating questions. These introductions connect to the relevant current discussion routes.

Programme review

Enterprise & Supplier Development

ESD Programme Analyzer

Review one completed programme to understand what was intended, what was delivered, what was implemented and what the available evidence supports. The ESD Programme Analyzer helps structure the questions, distinguish different kinds of evidence and identify the next justified action.

Areas to examine include:

  • programme commitments, delivery and implementation
  • evidence supporting outcomes and sustainability
  • gaps, follow-up responsibilities and the next decision

The review may confirm strong existing controls, identify a narrow improvement or show that more evidence is needed. It is not an audit or B-BBEE verification. Any later implementation is separately scoped.

Project control review

Project & Commercial Control

Project & Commercial Control Analyzer

Review a defined project and reporting period to understand how approved budgets, actual costs, open commitments, forecasts and changes support the management picture. The Project & Commercial Control Analyzer helps structure the questions, trace figures to supporting records and identify the next justified action.

Areas to examine include:

  • budgets, costs, commitments, forecasts and changes
  • reconciliation between sources and supporting evidence
  • unresolved differences, responsibilities and the next decision

The review may confirm strong existing controls, identify a narrow improvement or show that more evidence is needed. It is not an audit or certification of project figures. Any later implementation is separately scoped.

Microsoft Partner Services

Capption has been a Microsoft partner since 2017. Through that partnership we are a Microsoft licence reseller and provide technical support and user training.

Workflow automation and solution development are part of the same partnership. They are described above, under Reporting and Workflows and Business Tools.

What Happens Next?

Four steps, in this order. Scope, delivery and any costs are agreed before work starts.

  1. Establish the Need

We clarify the management or operating question first.

  2. Review What You Already Have

We look at the systems and records already in place.

  3. Decide Together

We decide together whether Capption has a role to play.

  4. Agree Scope and Costs

Any proposed work receives a defined scope, deliverables and commercial agreement. Software licensing and infrastructure are considered where applicable.
