Privacy
Capption (Pty) Ltd is responsible for the information it receives through business enquiries. You can contact us at petermichael@capption.co.za about this notice or the handling of your information.
Information You Choose to Provide
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as your name, organisation, role and enquiry. We use this information to respond and to discuss the matter you raised. A later engagement may need a separate information-handling agreement.
You do not need to send confidential client or beneficiary records with an initial enquiry. Please do not send passwords or identity documents.
Website and Email Services
This website is a set of static pages hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Microsoft serves the pages from a globally distributed network, so a visit may be handled by Microsoft infrastructure outside South Africa. The website has no forms, user accounts or database. Capption does not collect visitor logs or analytics from it. As the hosting provider, Microsoft may process technical information, such as your IP address and details of the pages requested, to deliver and secure the service under its own terms.
Capption's email runs on Microsoft 365. If you email us, your message is received, stored and processed in that service. Microsoft may process information in South Africa or other countries in line with its service terms.
Cookies and Measurement
This website does not set cookies. It does not use advertising trackers, behavioural analytics or an embedded booking service. If that changes, we will update this notice before the change takes effect.
Access, Protection and Retention
Access to enquiry information is limited to the people and service providers needed to handle it. We retain information for the enquiry or engagement and for applicable business or legal needs, and review retention when it is no longer required.
Your Privacy Questions
You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise an objection, where applicable. We may need to verify a requester's identity and consider any lawful retention requirements.
Information about South Africa's privacy regulator and its complaint routes is available from the Information Regulator.
Changes
We will update this notice when the website or relevant information-handling arrangements change.
